We can’t have everything we want in this life. Unfortunately for this nation, Harry Reid managed to squeak into re-election by about forty-thousand votes over competitor, Sharon Angle. That’s not a landslide indication of support for Reid, but he did win, unfortunately for the nation, or so Fox has declared. Reid’s feevah rages on, he remains infectious.
Let’s all wait and see, however, how many of those pro-Reid votes were tainted by Reid’s possible creepy voter machinations. I’m suspecting more’s afoot in Nevada than meets tonight’s straightforward reports about the poll results.
…It was the best of times, it was the worst of times: Fox News says Dingy Harry has pulled it out. Between this and the landslide in Delaware, one of the subplots to the GOP victory narrative tomorrow will be the need for greater quality control among Republican candidates, whether tea-party or establishment. Anyone not think Marco Rubio, say, would have utterly destroyed this tool? Six more years of this crap now.
The silver lining? He’s a terrible majority leader, and we are after all stuck with a Democratic majority for another two years. He’ll probably do less damage than Schumer or Durbin would. But that’s the best spin I can put on it. It’s bitterly disappointing.
Commenters at Hot Air think Sharon Angle could still win, however, what with many more votes in Nevada yet to be counted.
VOTING FRAUD: BLAMING MACHINES, BLAMING “OLD PEOPLE,” BLAMING LAZY FINGERS…INTERESTINGLY, THE “ERRORS” DEFAULT-VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS
