From my wilderness camp of a blog, I saw Bart Stupak’s rickity roll coming down the political tracks and I never — as in, never, not at all — believed that his motives were to vote against public funding for abortion, but, rather, saw that his methods were to exploit that issue in order to publicly fund abortions — with other incentives pushed into some open boxcar siding somewhere back there among his trailing opportunities to motivate on down the unethical tracks called the Obama Health Care Monstrosity.
I read, and read and read (and was embarrassed by and for) comments from others — generally people who’d voted for Stupak while believing he was pro-life — in failed naivete that this man in D.C. was “holding out for the unborn”.
Stupak never was. He was holding out for passage of the Obama Monstrosity. Worse, he used the lives of the unborn (and some of them the never-to-be-born, with Stupak’s amoral declination to rally for them, and Barack Obama’s and other Democrats insistence that they never live at all — [read about Obama’s pro-abortion record]).
So, in yesterday’s Democrat document dump, Bart Stupak said he was resigning his Congressional seat rather than “seek re-election”. I felt nothing but relief for the American people and disgust at Stupak’s use of even that press moment to promote “all” that he’s “done” — which amounts to a great deal of harm to our nation, much moreso human beings who will never see life because cowards among the Democrats such as Stupak, Barack Obama, Stupak’s many associates among the Democrats today, because these cowards devote quite so much amoral time running away from honorable willingness to protect and defend human life.
I remain truly sorry for those American voters who have remained trusting of Bart Stupak and I wish them wisdom, sooner than later. Stupak said in his Run Away Speech from yesterday that he “accomplished what I wanted to do” and that he’s “proud” that he “sucked off” the Tea Party “treasury”.
Are those the words of a man with some semblance of credibility? And of a person who has voted to enable yet more abortions, funded by the American taxpayers (without their consent, at that)? Are these the words of someone who is pro-life: he’s “accomplished what (he) wanted to do”?
He “wanted” to encourage and fund abortions, in other words, because that’s what he voted to accomplish.
Bart Stupak, another lying bad guy, running awaaay.
More about the deceitful, disgusting “illusions” of Stupak’s from yesterday’s announcement, wherein he claims pity for himself and his wife, who, he claimed pitifully, endured abuse and harassment.
What Stupak did in that illusion of his was lend encouragement to his aspersions in blaming the wrong people: Americans who are pro-life, who did not support the Obama Health Care Monstrosity that Stupak worked quite so theatrically to bring about.
Because the people who actually harassed Stupak were those among his own kind: Democrats, the Left and other supporters of the Obama Health Care Monstrosity, who plagued Stupak (and wife) with inopportune calls during his pretense of NOT supporting publicly-funding of abortions, during Stupak’s theatrical dalliance in his “I won’t vote for it” political staging act.
