Today is April 1st. Unfortunately, the fool in this video — Democrat Hank Johnson, from Georgia’s 4th Congressional District — is not joking, and it was last month, March, when he vented his *serious concerns* that “the island of Guam might become so overpopulated…that it might tip over and cap-size.”
Uh-oh: Georgia’s 4th Congressional District that elected Johnson “is the same district that elected Cynthia McKinney to Congress“.
This guy is (really) a Democrat Congressman. How I wish this was a joke. But it’s not. The joke is that he’s a member of Congress and actually votes on things that affect our American lives. One guess what his vote was for the Obama Health Care Monstrosity. And his *serious concerns* were made during a House Armed Services Committee hearing. To my horror, Hank Johnson is a member of such Committee.
How the Navy Admiral before whom Johnson was posing this *serious concern* of his managed to remain stoic during this episode, I’ll never know, but my hat’s off to his courage, aplomb and composure.
Oops: all the rest of us be stupid folk because the Congressman’s later revision statement says the “Guam might tip over and cap-size” remark was an exercise of his “subtle humor“. It’s not him, it’s you.
