The history of the Democratic Party proves they’re lying as to their sales-pitch being applied to the Sonia Sotomayor nomination: “she’s Hispanic, she’s a female, she has ‘Hispanic feelings’ so she qualifies for the Supreme Court!”
The Democrats have applied gruesomly destructive campaigns against many Hispanics — as also persons possessing other racial characteristics — throughout the years. And now they want you to believe (at least the Obama Administration and the Democrats in Congress do) that Sonia Sotomayor’s racist, sexist and ethnic-supremacist characteristics are somehow righteous…because she’s Hispanic!
And, oh, have you heard that she’s a Hispanic?
About that last part, just why, exactly, is Sotomayor being sold (also) as a super-duper smart lady? When she says this (as she has):
“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”
Just what about that statement is “intelligent”?
And what, exactly, is “intelligent” about the expression, “a…Latina woman“?
As opposed to, what, a Latina MAN? The word, “Latina,” is Spanish FOR “female”. So saying “a…Latina woman” is saying, literally, “a female Hispanic woman” (Spanish-to-English: “latina”=female Hispanic, vs. “latino”=male Hispanic.)
Her language is nonsense, as it is also despicable in overall assumptions. And yet, according to the latest wiggly-jiggly-jibberish from the White House, it’s he or she who HEARS that statement who is to blame for the nonsense inherent in it.
