Pretty sweet! The House of Representatives voted to pass House Resolution 579:
“BILL TITLE: Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that those who celebrate Christmas believe that the symbols and traditions of Christmas should be protected.”
Although I don’t know how the term, “protected,” will be defined, enacted, I hope it means more than not being thrown in jail if and when it’s said, written or read, “MERRY CHRISTMAS.”
Not surprisingly, the only “nay” votes were from twenty-two Democrats.
