MANDATORY EVACUATION OF NEW ORLEANS

Category 5 Hurricane KATRINA — (Larger Image View) — approaches the Gulf Coast, City of New Orleans in direct impact path, Mayor of the City of New Orleans orders mandatory evacuation.

It looks grim for New Orleans, to state the obvious, and I hope everyone there takes the evacuation order seriously, if not already. Difficult to offer from a distance “best wishes and prayers” for everyone in all affected areas, but offered sincerely. Category 5 is a monster storm.
