BD21504_.gif CLINTON SPEAKS BEFORE HISPANIC “CIVIL RIGHTS” CONFERENCE
(quotes mine, since Clinton was speaking before a meeting by the racist, militant organization called La Raza — that it has become reworked by maintstream media to be called a “civil rights” organization emphasises the necessity of the DNC and by Hillary Clinton to mislead who she is being applauded by and for what).

RedDotSml.gif Like many other conservatives, I am now convinced that the Democrat “leadership” is power mad and reason absent and will say, do and postulate anything if it incites adequate emotional response for potential voters on their behalf. And that, also like many others, I am convinced that the entire Joseph Wilson/Valerie Plame issue — Valerie Plame was not a “secret agent” with the CIA and was publicly well known, to include her neighbors in D.C., to be employed by the CIA, and not in a covert or “topsecretsuperdooper” status, either — that the Plame issue is a performance piece intended to generally muck up public perception about our American government. Without that performance and audience response, the DNC can’t sell tickets.

Suzy, your first link seems to be broken.

Paul Haggis, screenwriter, “Million Dollar Baby”…

I haven’t seen it (yet); like you, I’ll get the DVD and bypassed seeing this film in theatres. A lot of films are a waste of theatre experience (crowds, noise in theatres, poor sound systems, costs compared with home viewing, etc.)…I like the DVD experience far more lately because I see and hear far more detail in DVD viewing (compared with that in theatres) and can stop/advance/return, repeat view as many times as I want with a DVD.

I’m not sure this is a title I’ll buy, however, despite my fondness for Clint Eastwood’s films. This one seems to have been far too confused as to purpose, from what I’ve read. Most, similar to yours about the failings of the script in the second half.

Just watched “Million Dollar Baby” on DVD…the first half was really good…but the writing in regards to the second half was atrocious…very bad.
