Thanks to the DRUDGE REPORT for the photograph of President Bush, featured above, and for excellent up-to-the-minute election night coverage this November 02, 2004.

Thanks for wonderful coverage, also, goes to Wizbang, littlegreenfootballs and the Command Post, among many other bloggers. I found so much information throughout the day and night from so many bloggers; truly a remarkable set of Americans doing outstanding work (the PAJAMAHADEEN lives!).

And, last but not least, thanks to FOX News from this viewer for great election coverage. Brit Hume, you rule. As does the Brit Hume led election night panel.

Yeah, it’s great, along with that caption!

I was just looking over some other wonderful photos of President Bush to post here but I decided to just let the big red headline stand for today…so grateful for such an incredibly overwhelming voter turnout in support and endorsement of Bush/Cheney and so many other Republicans, nationwide.

Was sorry to see Coors not win the Senate seat in CO, however — he sure made a great contest for the office, though. Maybe he’ll run again…maybe he’ll remain in national government.

Anyway, enjoy the day, this day, because I know I sure am. I even overslept!

    Good article…

Russian, Italian special services should cooperate more actively – Putin

Interfax. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, 6:27 PM Moscow Time

MOSCOW. Nov 3 (Interfax) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has spoken in favor of more active cooperation between the Russian and Italian special services.
“I would like this cooperation to develop further both on a bilateral basis and within international institutions,” Putin said following negotiations with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi in Moscow on Wednesday.
Berlusconi said in reply that he supports “Vladimir Putin’s desire to develop cooperation between special services, police, and military forces, including the Navy, in fighting terrorism.”

Berlusconi: Bush victory to benefit Russia-Italy relations

Interfax. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, 6:17 PM Moscow Time

MOSCOW. Nov 3 (Interfax) – If George W. Bush has been re-elected as U.S. president, the United States will remain “a motive force of freedom and democracy in the world,” Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said on Wednesday.
Bush’s victory “would also make the further development of Russian- Italian relations easier,” Berlusconi told a news conference in Moscow after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin

Yes, first article — Putin is quoted as saying that “we are destined to cooperate (with the United States)”, is utterly poetic — but that other quote, by Russia’s Communist Party leader, parrots most of what the left in the U.S. have been writing, particularly Moore and such. No surprise there.

Intersting character, Putin. As is Burlesconi. I’m just relieved and encouraged that Bush has managed to reach a place of accord with these personalities and leaders. Far better than the Iron Curtain days, is what I mean…problems still occur but at least Bush and Putin indicate the capacity to be able to talk things over.
