Received a few days of showers in the night and day and whenever the sky offered up the beauteous drops, as it has since this past Saturday, along with cooler, much cooler temperatures.
God is good.
I mentioned that to someone last weekend, who responded that God should have been good a week earlier — the terrible wildfires here and surrounding — and I responded that maybe no one asked God for rain until the end of the week. In which case, He responded on time.
It’s always the right time for rain when you’ve had wildfires, hot temperatures, ashes everywhere, terrible, unbreathable air, disasterous loss of life — human, animal and plant. So, no complaints here, just glad it’s wet, cold and now, clear and crisp again.
Thank you, God. Sweet, sweet rain.
